Text Box: GROUPS The Choir We have one choir which practices on Thursday at 7:00pm. Mother's Union Is a worldwide fellowship specially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life. Our parish branch meets on the 4th Monday of each month, for worship, fellowship and education. Men’s Fellowship Meets on the second Tuesday of each month for fun, fellowship and occasionally some work around the church property. Altar Guild men and women who prepare the sanctuary for worship each week. Teams of members take turns on duty. Meetings of the guild take place quarterly. S.O.Y. (Sprit Of Youth) Is a gathering for Junior and Senior High aged young people. Server's Guild young people who assist in worship each Sunday. Prayer Group meets on Wednesday mornings for prayer and study. Prayer Chain members of the congregation who offer intercessory prayer daily for those requesting Greeters Welcome people as they arrive for worship. Catering Group Scripture Readers Read the scripture readings at Worship. PARISH COUNCIL & Committees Parish Council is the governing body of the parish. Its members are elected at the Annual Parish Meeting. The Council meets on the fourth Tuesday each month. The Council has a number of Committees that assist in carrying out its work of ministering to the Whole People of God in this community: Spiritual Development- Worship, Christian Education for all ages. Pastoral Ministry & Outreach- Caring for members: of the church, the community & the world. Property- Taking care of our buildings and property. Finance & Administration- Keeping track of income & expenses, overseeing all financial aspects of our church life. Personnel- Hiring staff, creating "function descriptions" for volunteer and paid positions. Stewardship- Visioning for our future as a congregation and keeping the need for adequate resources to achieve our goals, before our members. Cemetery- Taking care of the cemeteries. Special Events- Planning and conducting fundraising events.
